This course provides the tools to conduct a competitive market analysis to continue to verify the commercial potential of the technology. The main goal of the analysis is to understand the structure of the market and identify the key customer needs.
By the end of the course, students should be able to identify the key market characteristics and customer needs. Also, by the end of the course, students will reach the following milestones:

  • Mapping the value chain
  • Identifying major actors within the key fields of the technology and product market
  • Estimating the market size, profit pool, and growth dynamics
  • Analyzing market segments and customer needs
